I have a 1966 Convertible 327/300 without side pipes. As I have gone through the car I have noticed several broken ground straps. According to Corvette Central, my car needs 6 ground straps. Does anyone know where they all go? Is there a page in the AIM that shows this and I'm missing it?
- One to the Antenna (that's the easy one)
- One to the engine shroud (I'm pretty sure)
- One/two to the exhaust hangar(s)?
- One/two to the bird cage by the rocker?
Thanks in advance for any description or pictures you might be able to send my way.
OK, this is super helpful. I have found it in my AIM. Thanks.
A couple of follow up questions:
Can you confirm that when the AIM says LH, that they mean Driver's Side?
Does someone have a picture of how strap #5 connects? This is the one that mounts at body mount #1.
