Default Remove Side Window Regulator Not Vent Need Help!

Working to remove side window regulator on my 67 coupe. Have the window loose and taped up and upper and lower slide brackets out but Can't get regulator out due to interference with T post. About 4 years ago had other door completely apart but forgot how it goes? Is there any way to move the T post outward to provide some clearance for regulator or do I have to remove vent regulator and T post? If I remove the T post does the window have to come out first before regulator (yuk)? I swore that I would never reinstall another side window on a coupe but here I am wondering. I could get the rear channel out easily, I think. I have read thru the archives & chassis manual but am still not sure? Info by Dave Zuberer and Bill Turner are helpful but cover the entire door window assy ... I hope to only remove the regulator as simply as I can.

In a Coupe, you drop the main door window down completely and then remove the vent window assembly. Once that vent window assembly is removed, you then bring up and out the main door window.

If I understand your question, you need to remove the rear track and remove the window from the regulator arm, remove the window from the front track and set the glass in the bottom of the door, against the outside panel. The you should be able to remove the regulator assembly and work it out of the access opening. The vent window frame and front track has to be removed on a coupe, before the side window glass can be removed.

See the highlighted material on page two of the attached pdf. It is possible to remove the side glass without removing the vent window assembly. The trick is to remove the rear lower track (two large phillips-head screws at the rear of the door, two bubble clips and possibly a small screw at the bottom of the channel if it's still there. The tape handles on the glass make it possible to raise the glass when the sash is detached (two nuts on studs). When the window is detached you can raise the rear corner and slide the glass up out of the door pocket.

I guess that I got too wordy in my post. What I want to do is remove the regulator while leaving the side glass in the car. Hoping if I loosen or remove the entire vent T bar assy it will give me enough room to clear front vent T bar and slide spline shaft on regulator outwards and get the regulator past he area that the T bar was in ? Appreciate the responses!
