Food for thought - if you ever considered putting in a removable crossmember, now would be the time to do it when everything is out. Hopefully there will not be a "next time", but if there IS.....

I've used levellers and carb lift plates and assuming you have help carb lift plates>>>>>>>>levellers. No chains and/or hooks to mess with that will scratch the engine or intake up. Less required minimum ceiling height and the lift plates are cheaper too.
