My drivers side door vent window regulator is fried. These seem very hard to get. Does. Anyone know if GM used the same manual window regulators (the part with the gear that attaches to the crank handle) for other makes/models?
for example would a C3 fit or a Belair, Nova, Camaro, etc?
1968 GM "A" bodies had them and so did 68-72 "A" body sedans and El Caminos. Hardtop versions of these cars only had them in 1968. In 1969 the hardtops all went to one piece glass in the doors. Whether any of these are the same as a C2 I have no idea.

I don't think any A body ever had a crank handle for the vent window.
Tjefferson2020, If you search for C2 Corvette door vent regulator you will find new replacements and re-build options. It shouldn't be difficult to fix you problem.
Here’s an older thread from the forum. Goto to post #4 for the pdf listing the different years. I have two rebuild shafts in my parts box. I believe they are 3 ring but will have to check.

Let's not get in a debate here. Next time your at a car show look at ANY 1968 GM "A" body. My friend recently had an issue with them on his 68 Chevelle and had to replace them both. Earlier "A" bodies, 64-67 had push open wing windows.
