Wish my 58 looked that good when I bought it. I'm not good with values, but I think $30k would be the most I'd pay for it. I paid $9800, several years back, for mine but it's nowhere in this good of shape, with a lot of parts missing.
I'll throw my opinion in the ring. Having gone through a 58 stem to stern, they can quickly become a money pit. Without any input on running / driving condition I'd be in the low to mid 30's..
I loved my ‘58, had it for 10 years. Id want to buy it for 40. Whats under the hood? These guys just play better with a correct looking 283 rather than a 350 or something. It has the spears, the hood and I see the correct gauges with the “dots.” I like it.

BUUUUUUUUUT, with enough ingenuity, a later small block CAN be made to APPEAR as a period correct 283.
Now it really plays well.
For example, I have a SB400 in the 56 that VERY CLOSELY resembles an Airbox 57 FI 283.
Lawrence I sent you a Private Message earlier through this Forum but I do not think that you can receive them yet since you are a new member. You can call me if you like and I can tell you more.
