1. Are thee brake calipers the same as a 65 when you do a conversion to a 63, they look the same in pictures? O ryley can get them today for 80 per
2. Steering shaft coupler rubber is wore out on mine, kits are alot cheaper, is this acceptable?
3. My knock off rims have an arrow showing counterclockwise on the left side. I used my small rubber hammer and got nowwhere, can I use A 2x4 with a metal hammer to get them unscrewed?
65-82 calipers are interchangeable but there 65 to E66 L66-73 and then 73-82. Are the three changes of designs. I could be off on the year cut offs
many say the repro rag joint materials are inferior to what GM used. But your options are slim when it comes to this
are you sure you have knock offs and not replicas? Rubber hammers should be no where close to use on wheels. Get a lead hammer like GM issued with the wheels and pound away. Until then if you have a good block of hard wood and a 3-5 pound sledge have at it. Just don't miss
In earlier posts you were looking for a SWC, did you buy the one you were asking about?
Are your KO wheels original or aftermarket, are they bolt-on but lookalike KO wheels, do they have the so called safety pins, are the KO adaptors bolted to the hub with the correct long lug nuts to ensure the correct alignment of the wheel to hub, do you have the will and equipment to really HAMMER them (nothing between spinner ear and hammer) on/or off with 8 HARD blows as directed in the manual?
Don't attempt to remove or re-install your Knock Off wheels or let anyone else work on them until you've searched and read and understand the many posts about them here on the forum.

@Whatscooking Pics of the wheels will help the crew on CF. I'm just along for the learning ride.
From your other posts pics you appear to have disc brakes. So if you are looking to replace the calipers with rebuilt ones, the part #'s will tell you which ones you have. Here is a link to the Part #'s on Corvette Centrals Tech page for your reference to help.

If your KO wheels are repros they may have the antitheft pins in the hub and no matter how hard you hit it you cant loosen the spinner until you remove the pin.
To check and see if your wheels have this pin in place you will need to remove the chrome, tri color center cap.

If your KO wheels are repros they may have the antitheft pins in the hub!!! YES!!! Pop the center cap off and look.
Don’t monkey around with the wheels. Get someone familiar with knock off wheels to school you in your exact wheel and
mounting routine. Find a local Corvette club or person at a car show or somewhere who is very familiar with knock offs and the bolt on replacements and learn. Don’t just attempt it, or your next post will be, It’s gonna cost me a lot of money to fix this. This is not an area to learn by doing.
New day. I was able to roll the wheel around enough to see A small indentation in the side of the cap. With a small screwdriver I pried the cap out. Bent it A little, they used some blue silicone.
When I look into the hole now all I see is the end of the axel. I have her up on my Quick Jack now so I'm going to lower her down so the tire has some resistance and I'm going to try to unscrew the spinner. There is an arrow pointing for off. I got a dead blow 3 pound hammer from HF yesterday.
You are ok to ask for advice, but then won't follow it. This is my final attempt to help you. If those are original KH knockoff wheels without the antitheft pins, they are worth around $15K. A dead blow hammer is not the same as a lead hammer. After the hammer rebounds into the wheel, you.ve lost the value of your original wheel. Same for a busted fender lip. Please Google C2 Corvette knockoff wheel and at least educate yourself if you can't find anyone with knowledge to help. Slow down and learn what you have and how to take care of it.
By the way, the original KH wheels do NOT have the antitheft pin in one of the slots around the adaptor and the center caps do NOT need to come off to take off the wheel. If you'll post a picture of the "end of the axle", we can get a better idea. What you are actually seeing is the end of the adaptor that is bolted to the hub and NOT the end of the axle. POST A PICTURE BEFORE YOU START BANGING AGAIN.
That’s certainly looks like original valuable KH wheel. The center caps don’t need to come off to remove those spinners. You need a Mother Thumper LEAD hammer, I would get a six pounder.

I thought I was following the advise not only from here and my own research but also I went to a car show yesterday and talked to two C2 owners about knockoff rims. Everyones information was to get the center cap off to see if there was locking pins holding the spinners, so this morning I took my time and removed the cap. The guy at the car show said get a dead blow hammer that is what he uses. Hard to sorce a lead hammer locally.
How heavy of a lead head are you talking?
Yes I did hit it when I first raised her up with a very small rubber hammer.
