Default C2 headlight bucket question?

Do the adjustment bolts shown on the "V" bracket need thread lock?

Don't they make 2 different kinds of lock thread? Some made for future adjustments and some made for a permanent lock?

Please show a Pic of your lock tread tube if you use it.

I think they are an interference fit. But you could use a small drop of blue or purple loctite if they seem a little loose. Just don’t use any red. Purple would be best as it’s low strength to create an fit that is still adiustable.

Don't think you need any.

If you have the correct bolts they have a nylon strips that prevents them from turning. Roy

Mine were a bit loose in the y stop so I put a couple of drops of blue loctite for peace of mind. I figure it ain't gonna hurt anything. I just pulled mine out last week & had to adjust them again since the painter had the two outside pivots on the wrong sides & I am 99.9% that they were 7/16. I used a ratcheting wrench which made it easy to dial in where I needed it.

I wouldn't use LokTite, but would get new NyLok bolts first, bolts with the nylon locking material. If you choose to use LokTite, the blue would be the maximum to consider if you wish to adjust them in the future.
Just $.02 for what it is worth.
