Windshield wiper switch
Was wondering how hard is it to replace windshield
wiper switch? Looking under dash it appears that
their is no room to remove old switch without taking
some of the bracing out?? Does the switch come out from the front or the back of dash?

Switch remival
tried needle nose but nut does turn?? I thknk I just
ruined nut?? It just keeps crumbling and wil not
turn or budge??? Help.

Hold it from the back so it won’t spin, spray a tiny bit of lubricant in the from the front and tap (very gently) with a small screwdriver on one side of the nut until it starts to turn.
Then try a long pair of needle nose pliers that don’t interfere with the housing and turn counter clockwise.
The switch is just pot metal and the threads are easily stripped, so don’t beat on it.
