Hi all, I’m trying to remove my light switch from my dash but have hit a snag.
I have a headlight switch nut wrench but can’t use it unless the switch itself is removed. Any help on how to remove the light switch would be appreciated. I’ve added a couple photos from inside the dash and outside, so as to provide what setup I have on my 1960.
Yes, pull the **** out as to turn the lights on, then reach up to the top backside of the switch and push the pin in. The **** will slide out the rest of the way and you can then use the tool to remove the switch from the dash.
What you're meaning to say is the headlight **** is in the way. The **** and shaft come out as one piece once you push the button shown in the picture on the switch body. Then you can use your tool to unscrew the bezel which lets the switch pull out the back.
