Increase in dues to $100.00 was a mistake. Dues are going to be $80.00 per year. BUT their website has the Dues amount at $60.00. I'm personally not taking advantage of any Membership features. Does anyone else know what is going on with the NCRS? When you are faced with 25% increases in Memberships, it would seem prudent to disclose Financials to the Membership

Regardless of the "politics" or the new web page, the TDB is a war chest of information. Worth the additional $20 IMO. Like any membership, the value comes in how one utilizes everything that is made available.
Giving everyone a heads up. Earlier this week, the NCRS IT system sent out a test email to all members as part of working out bugs in the new IT system. The system related to membership automatic renewals. Please disregard the test email. Automatic renewals are not going to $100. I received that test email four times in a matter of minutes. Please reassure fellow members that the email was only a test. Sorry for any confusion. Mike Ingham is reaching out to our IT to address this, too. Thanks, Tony
That is not what I received............I guess they are backing off on $80.00 dues!!!!! Actually, I think that was "The test"
there was a discussion a while back about keeping the dues the same and only sending the Restore and Driveline by email only and raising the dues for members who want them in print form sent by mail. but I don't think that gained any traction

The website is probably still reflecting the current rate due to the March 31st cut-off of the old rate. If your auto-renewal is 4/1 or after you'll be charged $80 but you could jump the auto-renewal and pay via the website now at $60.
I stopped back in the 90"s when they stated to replace a Top Flight award would be $300. I posted on a thread that I thought the fee was a little outrageous given that I was a member and if mine was lost/destroyed because of a fire/flood/theft a nominal fee of $25-50 would be more appropriate. The responses from many members made me not to renew.
I never joined, having paid the fee to provide the birth cert. on my chevelle was justified, but holding a corvette owner ransom in order to get the same information is just bs.

NCRS has also announced they’re looking for a good website administrator.
I joined the NCRS in 2004 and my membership expires on March 31st. I’ve decided that I’m not going to renew it. I watched part of the most recent Zoom directors meeting and heard that membership is shrinking 4-5% per year. That didn’t surprise me based on my experience with the NCRS the last few years which has lead me to believe that they don’t really want new members. The only benefit I get from it is access to the Technical Discussion Board, which I will genuinely miss.

If they are a 501c3 or any other type of 501 tax exempt organization you can obtain a copy of their 990. It is a public document. That will give you the data on financials that you are looking for.

Hey Dan,
I took advantage of the pre-April sign up! Thanks for the response!
