I’m halfway through installing the dash on my ‘63 but I can’t seem to find where the input of my odometer line goes. Unfortunately I wasn’t not the one who took it out, so I don’t have a reference for where it went originally. It’s currently screwed into the dash cluster, so I’m searching for the engine input side.
Also, my block is not original. It’s a 350 out of a late 70s corvette. I’m thinking that might change the odometer cable location. What do you guys think?
As stated above, it looks like the cable is attached to the odometer. The trip reset cable threads down to a bracket under the column. Shown below is the setup in our '65 and the parts for the '63.
Photos from my '63, which I presume to be correct but can't guarantee is the case, given how non-original this car is. Yes, the **** is showing its age.

Alright I need to come clean. I did not realize the true odometer reading is taken from the speedometer cable. Looks like I’m missing the necessary hardware to install the trip odometer fully. Oh well, glad to have the primary odometer at least.
