Default Nose support rods question

My 65 has a 66/67 core support which according to Mid Year mitch is no problem
Would I buy the 66/67 nose support rods?? Will I need the grill support rod also. I understand that started in 66??
thanks everyone

Nobody can help here??
I will have to *** U ME that the 66/67 rods are longer due to the additional lean back of the support and the top radius ...
Anyone agree here???

I don’t know about 65/66 verses 64/65 length but when I installed new rods 35 years ago on my 66 they were just plain too long. I put a bend in them towards the top, out of sight, to make them work. Today I probably would cut the rods and welde the ends back on.

I can't answer your first question, but on the second quesion: I assume you are talking about the Center Brace? It is a rod that goes from the core support to the center of the grill. In 65 it went to the bottom center of the grill. In 66 it went to the top center of the grill. They were different sizes.

Hope this helps.

The 65 has a certain length rod and 66-67 has a different length. The 66-67 rad support leans much farther back than 65.

Dejavett- the center support rod attaches to the lower or upper center grill mount tabs and the header bar in 65-67. It does not attach to the core support.
