turn signal alignment

Can someone please post me some pics of the mounting (plate) so that I can get an idea of how the whole thing is alinged in the column ? Thank you kindly. Sorry, for a 64 convertible.. In particular the upper steering column mast jacket retainer. If I line the holes up the turn signal lever is over 9 o'clock position (not level). Should I adjust/turn the steering column ? Sorry if I sound like a novice, 1st Corvette. I own a 68 Camaro, a 69 Z28. MGB, have worked on/driven many older big 3 autos buts this one takes the cake. But I'll get it, with some help.
