Default Seat installation

I can get the seat tracks in the rear but I can't get the front tracks to move far enough to bolt the front in. What am I missing.

I used a big phillips screw driver through the hole in the track and into the bolt hole to pry them in to the rear enough to line up the front screws.

Is the carpet removed in the area of the rear seat track? The carpet can be forcing the track up and preventing full movement.

I'm sure you've done this, but once the back of the tracks are slipped in the rear mounts, you have to slide the seat back all the way. If that doesn't do it you might attach a photo with the seat out to see if your rear mount bar looks like others. I have to pop my seat out every time I work under the dash and the older you get the harder that is.

I had to lightly tap my tracks rearward when I replaced the carpet. Have pulled them out since initial installation and they argued a little, but install and remove without issues since.

Drive em safe
