1965 coupe wire going into firewall just left of the wiper motor. I found the wiring torn. 4 wire black, black/blue stripe, black/orange stripe, green. Car runs fine and guages working. Do you know what these are for?

Charged up the battery overnight, accidentially pulled the key while in the on position so the interior lights and car did not turn over. So I thought it was the ignition harnass. After the battery is charged, went out this morning and the interior lights came back on, Car turns over, headlamps work, radio works. wiper works. The only thing not working is the hvac fan speed, so possibly the hvac harnass.

Possibly the wires that go to this connector which is not used on AC cars.
1965 AC Coupe, Lectric Limited harness.

Color coding looks similar. My car is a 65 coupe with a/c. But does not explain why the fan speed does not work. Dang mice. Thanks for this.
