I plan on replacing the fuel line and body mounts on my 64 convertible and have researched the subject on this forum. i have the car on jack stands and plan to lift one side replace parts than the other.i have a question about what bolts i need to remove at the front end of car. I removed the 2 bolts connecting the radiator housing to the frame. i've read to also remove the four side bolts connecting the radiator housing to the wheel wells ? Do i need to remove the four side bolts at the radiator housing ? there are also two braces coming off of the bottom of the housing fastened to the grill area that were not mentioned to be removed in any posts i researched. Seems to me from a structural stand point the four side bolts would keep the front end stabilized while lifting the body. But what do i know , just looking for some insight.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks 2 side bolts Brace to headlight housing

I removed the core support and the headlight supports when I replaced my body mounts, but I was also replacing the engine and radiator. I’m not sure if that is really required.
Mine is a ‘64 and all C2 corvette fuel lines go through the frame at the kick up. Once the body is up a few inches, you can straighten the bend in the line at the end, feed it through the frame, and rebend it once it is in place. Even SS lines have a lot of wiggle room.
This is how high off the frame I was to replace the fuel line. It was not fun but I got it done. Got some parts powder coated and installed a new Dewitt’s. Nice fit well made.

OT here.... Does a C2 body sit too far over the frame to run an aftermarket type of fuel line on the outside of the frame on the driveline side of the frame?? Hope this makes sense... TY
or if you're not concerned with originality you could use a two piece fuel line with a union. if you measure carefully you might be able to position the union behind the trans mount crossmember at the frame where it wouldn't be noticed.
