Default Need Some Help Please

Trying to get a value on a 1964 Corvette….this is for a family friend whose husband lost her husband recently.

Some specs:

VIN Number 408675S102553
327 Engine
4 speed manual transmission
Manufactured Sept. 1963 101741 Made in St. Louis
Riverside red exterior FO924RD 4102553
Interior Tuxedo Black3782870
Style 64-867
Trim 490AB Paint 923AA
Body 1494
Leather seats 898
Tinted Windows AO1
Power windows A31
Positraction G81
Power Brakes J50
Power Steering N03
AM FM Radio U69

I know the steering wheel and carburetor have been replaced but both originals come with the car.

The car is completely drivable and has no “issues” as he was very good at keeping it up.

More pics to follow.

That car does not have ac. Are you sure about the rest of the options. If that car is in a non running state I would say mid to low 40's

Yeah, the rest of the options are questionable.

It clearly does not have power windows.
N03 is for a big fuel tank, which this car does not have.
I highly doubt this car has the K66 transistorized ignition (not transmission)
The original seats would have been red and the seats in there do not have the correct '64 covers
The gauges are aftermarket units.

More pics will help with value. If it has a solid frame, birdcage and top, and runs well, I'd say $45-50K.

Trandy - Welcome to the Corvette Forum. Sorry to hear about your friends husband passing.
As the others have already pointed out, for us to help figure out value, it would help to see a lot more pics, inside, outside, undercarriage, etc. And, closeups too, not just postcard distance type pics.
A lot of sharp people on this Forum and hope you understand that these observations aren't criticisms. All Corvettes have value, but sometimes when parts
or colors or options are changed, it can affect that value.
Good luck.

My friend is in Southern California and I am in Missouri….so I am totally dependent on her photo skills….she did send me some other photos but for some reason they’re blurry and unusable.

I will be in touch with her again tonight and will gently prod her into taking proper photos.

I completely understand about the “originality” factor as I deal with guitars…I know quite a bit about them and I recently retired after spending 46 years in the music industry…but I’m a complete novice with the car thing…so I’m just looking for help and what others may view as criticism I view as information to be tucked away.

You or owner can check BAT (Bring-A-Trailer) for similar cars and their selling prices at auction. BAT is very well regarded by us old car guys.

I'm in SoCal. If the car is near me, I'd be happy to take a look. Feel free to PM me.

A couple pics of the engine compartment and another of the wheels would help. I assume it has the fabric convertible top (?), does it also have a hard top? I see the side bolt for one.
