Default What Engine?

Looking at a car, the owner knows it's a NOM, claims it's a '69 Vette 350. He didn't put it in, it's what he was told. The block casting is 3970024. The last part of the pad stamping is T0528CNF. Can anybody decipher these numbers for me? Thanks...

"CNF" suffix engines were used in 1970 Nova, Monte Carlo, Camaro, and El Camino and it was a 307 ci 2-Bbl engine (200 hp). Otherwise, the only other CNF engine was used in 1982 Passenger cars (350 ci 4-Bbl, Police package). :smash:

The 3970024 block was only used for 307's, and only from '69-'73, so it was originally a '70 307 2-barrel, 200hp.
