I am looking for a set of wider flares for my 67, like the ones you show. Mine are too narrow for what I am running and I get tons of rubber on them when racing. If anyone knows where to get c2 flares...please post

A member named FastEddy has some molds that he used and was thinking about making more when his car was done. I PMed him a while back about getting a set made but he never answered. Maybe you will have better luck.

FastEddy, if you are out there PM me about flares or the molds.

I just removed these from a car, but was only able to save the rear ones, these are an old ecklers kit, they came off at the door jamb, just behind the flare in a straight line, and at the upper bonding strip. can post pics of the removed flares if needed.

I got some nice ones from J & D Corvette in Southern California years ago. They appear identical with 1982 C3 wheel openings, but maybe a bit wider. They cover 295 width tires on 8 1/2 inch offset American Racing Torq-Thrust or 200S (daisy) rims nicely. Call 'em up, they probably still have the molds.

Thought I hit you back Vogie - sorry about that - I just looked and your message is still in my account. I would like to be able to make some for others, possibly starting this winter. I do not love fiberglass work, and have more experience with it than I wish, mainly from boats. I haven't even finished my car yet - been driving the wheels off it without even cutting in the front fender flares yet - still screwed on....LOL. They were the nicest, cleanest looking flares I'd ever seen when I ran accross the the builder of the silver car at Carlyle in 2001 or so - loved the c-3 type wheel opening lip and the way the horizontal body line is carried all the way out to the lip - and the fact that they returned to the bottom of the car, even though it offers less protection from debri - just looks better. The fender also actually bows out an inch beyond the orignal fender without the flare itself, and the opening is lower on the fenders than most of the flare panels made in the 70's - mine was riding a bit high in the rear in these pics as I was still messing with coilover ride heights. I was lucky enough to buy the molds from the custom shop in Oregon that made them. They are not quite as wide as I would have liked - I wanted to be able to run standard backspace 10" torque thrust "D's" with at least 295 tires in rear and 275's up front, but I had to widen the rears to 12's and the fronts to 11's (both on the inside) to pull the tires in some to clear the fenders. Using custom backspace wheels would solve the problem, but I like the old school race, less show, look of the one piece. The silver car was running 17x11 rims

Fasteddy, can you give me a measurement from the face of the rear frame and the inner and outer edge of the rear flare at the top of the arch. And, from a known reference point to the same place on the front fender flare. Need to start planning wheel measurements. Thanks.

I'll have to do it from the vertical part of the body tub just above the frame - I no longer have a stock frame - it's a jamisons custom. BUt I will need to get accurate measurements so we all know exactly what will fit with these.
