In what way did they not fit. Did you need 2.25s and ordered 2"? I ordered mine (aluminized) from Corvette central and they seemed to fit just fine. I have heard that the pure stainless ones have warping problems when heat is applied making rear alignment near impossible to get (and keep) right.
Hi, I saw your post about the midamerica mufflers you purchased. I got a complete aluminized system from Corvette Central and while the system fit great the sound is poor. I know that sound is very subjective but my car sound like a stock Toyoto. they advertize stock sound but I thought they meant Corvette stock! My question is how does your Walker set sound in a S/B. By the way "Semper Fi" from an old Marine.

Hi , On your Borla Turbos. Are they an easy fit on a stock exhaust system? Were you able to tuck them up into the fender so as not to interfer with the spare tire carrier and where did you get them. I'm a newbi and really appreciate the help. I have a 64 S/B roadster that I love even with the weeny sound.
Stall - I think mine had mufflers like the one's you discribe. They where huge and very quiet. The Dynomax Super Turbos fit well and give it a nice deep rumble at idle. At crusing speed, nice deep tone. At WOT - sounds great! Semper Fi
stall - I had Allen's Stainless (my exhaust pipe vendor) bend a couple of angle pipes to hook on the front of the Turbos ($25), and a $2 generic support holds up the rear. You can see the mufflers in a pic on the Details page linked off my homepage (listed below). The pic shows them with the spare tub removed for leaf spring painting. They occupy less space than stock mufflers, and they sound like side pipes, but the noise is at the rear of the car - so you can hear them together, and you can hear the stereo too.
Hey Magic - the Dynomax Tubos I order from MidAmerica came ready to bolt in. The angle pipe on the rear was part of the muffler and all brackets where there and lined up perfect with the stock muffler hangers from Paragon. Perhaps these are new to the Dynomax inventory.
