Carb Problem
I have a 66 with a 427/425 engine. The problem is that as long as you are running the car, on just the primaries, it runs just fine, however, as soon as the secondaries come in its as if you turned off the key (Complete Nosedive) as soon as you let up on the gas runs just fine again. Any clues? Oh by the way it has the original holley carb.

Assuming the secondaries are opening (check that with a dab of grease on the secondary throttle shaft lever and see if it transfers to the carb base), sounds like no fuel delivery from the secondary float bowl. Clogged jets or passages in the secondary metering block and secondary side of the main body?
