I know I am stating the obvious, but it could be alot of sediment in your fuel filter. After a clogged filter sits for some time, the sediment settles and will allow fuel to pass again. After running the engine for some time, the sediment will return and "re-clog" the filter. This could explain what you are witnessing.
Then again - it could be vapor lock.
Regardless of the vapor lock issue, its always worth checking your fuel filter (especially if you replaced a rusty tank a while back and did not replace the filter at that time). Just my $.02
They highly recommended it (or at least Bill and Dottie did at Blue Ribbon did)....
Didn't know Bill & Dottie were still running Blue Ribbon. Used to see them at a lot of the shows 15-20 years ago, but don't believe I've seen them at any in the paat several years. They're like me, getting on in yaars now. They're good folks in my book. Tried their website, but notice they don't have an on-line catalog.
