The no motor is probably the thing that lessens the value. The frame and body look pretty good as is according to the pictures. If it's a real fuelie, maybe 15k or so. I'd buy it where it is at 11k, put 20k into it and have something to be very proud of.
I had a 63 SWC. In my opinion, one of the nicest looking vetts out there...however.... There are a lot of one off items to these cars, so be careful of that. Watch all the other stuff,i.e. bird cage and frame. I would make a driver project out of this one.
I don't know what your experiance is with these cars, but they can wear you down to a nub, both mentally and dollar wise. Be prepared for that also..... ain't I a bundle of good news? Best of luck, what ever you decide to do, and stick with this site for TONS of good advice.
Depending on what's missing that you can't see, you might be hard pressed to put it on the road for $20K. That's assuming you can do most of the work yourself, including paint and body.

I agree strongly with Kabong on this.. I had a swc back in 1980 that I was startig to do a restoration on. It was pretty complete (totally apart) but needed alot of the "one off parts" that was driving me crazy. It was starting to get to me physically and mentally. Partially my fault, but fortuneatly (i guess) my wife got pregnant with my son. We had just bought a house so the vette had to go... Now 23yrs later I;m going to look for already done or atleast a driver. Make sure you know what your getting into and enjoy it....
with no title, and no pics of the VIN plate or trim tag, you might have some "issues" down the road that would severely impact in the car's value even if finished up propoerly . . .
its got 64 guages in it too, so unless that matters...
wonder why someone would have changed that?
I believe, if this is a late SWC, they started using 64 guages because they ran out of 63's, I read this in "cars and parts" resto of their 63 about 5 years ago. I think they sold, between cps. and verts, about 20,000 or so, surprised even GM!
One more thing on this SWC...that no title thing would have me scared off too....that can really be a can of worms!
Another thing about a SWC. The early ones had a BW T10. They also had a"special" T10 made for this application, It has a smaller imput shaft cover than the rest of the earlier ones to allow for the Muncies that would follow later on. I found this out the hard way when I tried to but my spare T10 out of my 60...it would'nt fit!
WOW thanks for all the GREAT info !!!...though i am interested in finding a mid year i dont thik that THIS car isf or me i have always had a thing for SWC for some reason , but i am wanting a driver too so i am sure i will find something that suits me, since numbers matching isnt important to me
Unless you are going to do the work yourself, this car will need at least 20K to finish. If you do it, do it right so your end result is something that you are happy with.
My Take
Paint and Body – Min-10K
Interior - 3K-5K
Drive Train - 5K add another 3K for a fuelie unit.
The title issue should be addressed. If you have to jump through hoops for a salvage title, walk on it.
Not to discourage you, if restoration is your hobby, then go for it. But if you are pondering restoration purely from a financial standpoint, you will be far ahead just to buy a finished product. Unless you have the tools or the ability to borrow them long term, you could drop 2K just for tools.
Note the frame depression in the 1st crossmember. Sits on a 65 or even younger frame. Rearend looks funny.....look how the left rearwheel is positioned. Lots of trim parts missing....for those numbers....I would just run. Need to spend lots of money just to make it look somewhat nice and it'll never be an original car again...why throw good money at bad ideas ?
