Clutch Problem
I was advised to "de-adjust" it, or put a wood block under the pedal to limit the travel during "spirited" use. I will probably "de-adjust " the linkage for later engagement.
I read an article on the "Chevy High Performance" website, which says that the Z bar bottom link should be vertical, or slightly toward the front of the car with the pedal fully depressed. Mine is tilted about 20 degrees to the front (the bottom of the link is forward of the top). This seems like a lot more than "slightly". Could this be contributing to the overcentering? Should I install a thinner throwout bearing? If I "de-adjust" the clutch in its present configuration, the link will be even further forward than it is now. The throwout bearing was part of the clutch kit from B/W, and I am not sure whether it is the thick or thin one,
The article that I referred to can be found at: http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomf...8%2Findex1.html
Thanks in advance.
