This is unusual. I actually gave myself a deadline to get a few things done before we go back to NY for the summer. I’ll miss a couple things like the sequential blinkers, but the beauty of my own deadline is who cares if I miss it. I’m going to finish the stripe and call it quits for now. I’ll be back on Fat Boy in a couple weeks.
I totally get it. They are a hobby and absent overriding circumstances, it's OK to go at your own pace. You have made amazing progress on that car in a very short time.
Mark,
Three weeks since you took possession of your "new" '64...look at the incredible amount of work you've accomplished already. Kudos to you, my friend. Go enjoy upstate NY with a clear head and tear back into Fatboy
Thanks and pretty much had to! In the old days I would have finished this stripe in a day or two, but these days I can only do a section at a time before my back says that’s enough.

Thank you again, Mark, for the AFB tune up kit and guide. I should gain a few more HP once I get a chance to tune the beast up.

Yes. Once I get back here in October I have to remove the rear valance to wire in the sequential turn signals. Much easier on me to then apply it on the bench!
Thank you all for the positive comments and encouragement. They helped me stay focused and motivated, even on the days I just wanted to sit on the couch!

Mark,
Suggest you look into acquiring a topside creeper.
I admire your vision, craftsmanship, and persistence on this one. It's really shaping up well.
Safe travels when you head back to the northeast. Let me know if you'd like to drop the anchor here overnight or longer as you're passing through.

Mark - this has been a great post to follow. As usual, your creativity and skills are impressive. I've learned a lot by following your posts over the years. Between the BATmobile and FAT BOY you've got a couple of great, personalized C2's.
Yes sir i have this one so fold flat out the way when not in used. Adjustable high too. all the way up its right above a standard refrigerator, (great for lifted trucks) all the way down is around S10 hood tall. so you could have used it to lay suspended over the roof for example.
Imagine a rolling step ladder, with a flat shelf that is padded so you step up and the bend over and lay on your belly with hands free. has a tool poket as well.
I just added it to the cart. Then the wife adds stuff and completes the order. When it shows up she says, “what’s this?” and I say, “I didn’t order it, but thanks!”
I don’t want anyone getting any bad ideas, she’s wonderful and the love of my life!
@mittens if you decide you don’t want to use that creeper on that truck anymore just let me know. I’d love to relieve you of the truck! Just to insure you are safe and don’t hurt your back.

You have good taste in vehicles. Though my 07 Duramax is in the shop for drinking foul Dino juice.
