427 aluminum ZL-1 engine
SOLD
Selling this 427 ZL-1 engine that is currently in my 67 Corvette. Engine professionally built, all new Chevy parts, 10 to 1 compression, hydraulic roller cam by Straub Technologies. Engine has 400 easy street miles on it and has never seen 5000 rpm. Air cleaner, road draft tube, pulleys, alternator, headers, flywheel and clutch assembly not included. You can hear it run and even help me remove it. Engine is perfect.
This is the new version of Chevrolet's famous aluminum big block.
$11,500 + shipping from Richmond, KY. Local pick up preferred but will ship at buyer's expense. Price is fair and firm.

TTT. Very cool engine, If I didn't have the misguided belief that I should keep my 66 a numbers matching I'd buy it. I prefer your aluminum BB to any LS3 in a C2 corvette. Good luck selling.

Oh WOW.....Im definitely a solid lifter, small block kind of guy when it comes to Corvettes.....but if I wasn't $11K short Id either:
1. Stuff this thing in my '72 C20 suburban with a 6 spd behind it
or
2. Put it on a stand in the middle of my living room and just sit on the couch staring and drooling!
