One pair of rear leaf spring 5th leafs for adding to a standard 4 leaf spring to make an HD 5 leaf and beef up the rear suspension. These are believed to be originals and are grooved and look identical to me. They have been cleaned and painted, and show a nice even arch. Were inside in dry storage for the last 40 years. Perfect if you want to firm up the ride or get some additional performance from the stock rear if you are running bigger tires. Seamless appearance with the original springs once assembled.

Thank you Dan. I will definitely keep these in consideration. Currently I am dealing spring perch problems. I had a local “expert” narrow a ford 9” housing for me. Even though I took him my original housing as a model, he welded 2.5” perches onto the housing whereas the originals were 2”.
The project has been one step forward, 2 steps back. But I will call some local spring builders to see what their charge would be to add your leaf then bring the springs back to spec.

JUst so you know, adding the extra leaf is easy. You can disassemble your old original springs, inspect them to make sure they are good., clean and paint them, add new repro liners, new center bolt, and then bring the assembly to a good spring shop and have them banded and re arched. Have done that many times both adding and removing springs on different cars as needed.
