New to the forum and decided to take a minute to introduce myself. My corvette experience began in the late sixties, stuffed in the back of a 64 fuelie for a day at the drags with my father and his best friend.Over the years I have been in and around enough vettes that they I thought I new quite a bit about these cars I finally picked up my dream car ( 71 BB vert ) a week ago and it has taken me just that long to realize I don't know jack about these cars. The info in the forum has helped me out a bunch already and I know I'll be here daily for the next several months as I finish the restoration on my car.
Thanks for the help and I'm looking forward to learning enough to be able to return the favor

Reason: added photo's
Glad you found us! For pics (like mine at the bottom of my post) you first need a web site to store put them. Then you create a link to that pic by typing the following:
Of course change "domain.com/subfolders/picname.jpg" to where ever the web site with the pic is. Also change the parantheses into square brackets. If you click on the insert image icon above the white space where you type your post then it will insert the bracketed tags for you.
Welcome there is a wealth of knowledge here, I've learned alot. and I'm still learning. Great site. Good luck with your restoration and enjoy there's nothing like cruising in a vette, it the best.
Here is a link to a few of my photo's.These were taken by the previous owner(completed 95% of the restoration).
Thanks to this forum I am dubbing the color bubba blue,I have a small amount of the paint that was used and it is PPG 2213 which is listed as mulsanne blue, but it appears like no other mulsanne blue car I have seen.Maybe a mixing error?
I will move the camera back from the car when I remedy this.
