What's the best way to clean blinker, brake light, running light lenses?
I have all of them off the car right now while I'm getting ready to paint and thought it would be a good time to clean them up. So what's the best way? Soak them in the sink with dw detergent? put them in the dishwasher? any advice is appreciated
I have had the best luck with PlasticX from Meguiar's. I even made some yellow headlight lens covers completely clear again with it... http://www.autogeek.net/meg18clearpl.html :
I got superb results using Autosol from Eastwood. It's a very fine abrasive polishing paste for plastic. My tailight lenses & marker lights look new again.
