come on guys i cant believe no one has any feedback on headers, any other brands you are using and like the fit and quality, want to buy a set and would love input from owners not just a magazine. thanks
The Dynomax Corvette SB Cerama-Coat fit & flow great, much better than is commonly known. Have been rec. them & many have them now.
The Hooker Super Comps are also very good.
most of the time you have to tweak the bolt holes...just put an exhaust gasket to the flange and see if the bolt holes line up, if they don't a reamer or a drill will fix the problem...that's the extent of any modification one has to do...half the guys on this forum that have headers are running Hookers, so the fit must not be a problem.
i'm runnung hooker super comp headers, ceramic coated.
went on with with no problem's at all. fit real nice.
only had'm a few mo. so cant say how that hold up yet.
allso went with the hooker header back ext. pipes and thay fit good too. but thay are only 2 1/4 pipes.
I installed blackjack aluma-coat headers on a 75, auto, no air about 25 years ago, fits well except around the oil filter. It has approximatly 3/16 gap towards the bottom of the filter.
