It worked like a champ last Sunday. Was returning from a Vette run climbing out of the desert into the mountains when the light came on, I reduced speed, applied brake, and sure enough, pedal was near the floor.
I stopped and found my right rear caliper was leaking. I added more brake fluid, and made the remaining 60 miles home.(All fixed now with new stainless sleeved calipers.)
My Vette is a 78 stick, which made driving with that condition less of a problem.
You drive around with extra brake fluid? Musta been a boy scout.
Yep.Brake fluid AND power steering fluid. Our monthly Club runs are over 200 miles (round trip). If not for myself, it is there for anyone. Some others carry quite an array of tools. We often are out in the back country, where services are not as available.
