I would say you can't go wrong with any of the also. I talk to alot of people and they all know the same year model and that is 69'. 69' had many cool cars, and thats what people remember. 68' had a some special parts that only 68' had, and some of them are very hard to come by. Many peopel really like to see that 427 on the hood and like the tri power set up. Me personally I like the side grills on the 69' better than the 70-72. I think IMO that the 69' would be easier to sell, but really any chrome bumper shark is not that difficult to sell at the right price.

Like the tailights on the '68's, like the gills and round exhaust on the '68 & '69s, like the wheel openings on the later years. . . .but I like mine best of all!

gills on the 68 and 69 are the same too many 69's were made you watch the 68 will be owrht more for the better looking lights, better wood steering wheel, KEY ON THE DASH!!!!!!!! ,door handles and smoother dash without that gay kangaroo pouch on it + it's the first year.

whats the worst c2 to buy a 64, it's not the first, not the last, and not near the last to get all the added hp.

I prefer the 68-69 because it doesnt have the 'flaps' or flared fenders.. however, I hate cleaning the damn car every day

I hope also one day that the 68 corvette will obtain the respect that it deserves. i also am biaised, and have owned mine for over 20 years. I do not dislike the other years just really like having a car that is quite different than other models.

I;m looking at a 1973 big block auto Monday.Been sitting outside for six years, not running. That's all I know at this point.I'm not a fan of the 454 engine, but what the heck,if this Vette is straight,I can drop a load in it with a manual tranny. This owner thinks it's worth $9000. as it is.Doubt that,as he could not remember if it had power windows, etc. Said his wife drove it.Heard this (retired)DEA agent owner is a big bull sh#tter.I'll find out.

OH,yeah,he says it has 65,000 original miles.I asked him how long he owned it,and he stuttered, and said "1969......then caught himself..Ha Ha Ha Ha.

Reason I like the 68 and 69 gills is because they're GILLS which the name stingray comes from not that any c3 should really be a stingray I have a video that says only because the 68 was so different than the 63-67 body they left the stingray badge off.

because people pissed and moaned over it they put it back on in one word but if any c3 deserves that badge its the 68-69 because they atleast have the gills.

its teh same way with 63 and 64 vettes they don't have the vertical gills therefore not as many people like them look.

"NO, i love 64 Vettes and I am glad that they are cheaper. If you don't believe me go to an auction or go look at them on ebay and see how their value compares to the other years. Basically the 63 had the split window so everybody loves that year-i like the look too. However, IMHO, the 63 has parts that i find very unattractive such as the curved seat backs, the ribbed console, the hood grilles, etc. It's funny, i run into people in my 65 nearly everyday that ask, "Is that a Stingray"? They think Stingray is to Corvette like Shelby is to Mustang. Anyway, the popularity of the 63 split window is in part due to people such as this. I think that the 64 is not as valuable because of what a few people have already posted, the frame not readily accepting side pipes or a big block engine or rear disc brakes. Plus, the horizontal fender louvers just don't say muscle car as much as the vertical ones."

The only C3 I can identify is the 1973...the rest are just a blur.
