that's the car my wife said OoooOoo Buy it NOW!

as if I have the dough sitting around. She started thinking aloud :"we can use the money from "x" CD and this and a loan"

As you know, I currently have no way to get it to the track, so the $16K is only a portion of what I'll have to spend.

I bought the C5 to drive around town so that I could dedicate the C3 mostly for racing...even though I'm planning a few trips to Orlando with the '68.. The car is still streetable....but I rather won't drive it in rain with those ET Street tires...

at-least Mrs. Iso is in agreement and an enthusiastic-supporter regarding this endeavor.....

2 great phrases regarding drag-racing and funding.....
"To make a small-fortune drag-racing..... start with a LARGE-fortune "....

.....and.....

" We all spend the same amount of money on our cars, no-matter WHAT class we run:
EVERYTHING WE'VE GOT!!!!! "

I'm on the same track you are on Iso. bought a 65 to run around in. pulled the # matching engine and tranny outand put in a 5 speed and built 327. . started building a nasty BBC for it to replace the warmed up 327 i built for it but decided to buy another car for that motor. picked up clean a 75 for $3K. made a deal with a good buddy of mine with a lot of fabricating experiance. he helps me with the job, he gets the motor, tranny, and complete IRS for a rat rod he wants to build.. going to pull the body off the 75 soon and start working out how to backhalf it. I'd love to hear how yours progresses.
