Help with factory alarm

Factory alarm on my 79 is always going off. Have new switchs on hood, both tops, and both doors. How do I disconnect this piece of ####.

I just reconnected my alarm. The horn is on the drivers side. There is a yellow and an orange wire running to it. The yellow one on mine was cut through and when I reconnected it it worked. that would be the quick way to disable it.

Mine works but it's sporadic as heck though.... sometimes I think it's set and it's not or vice versa... I'm gonna get a new one soon.

Just throw that POS out and get a good aftermarket unit. When I tried to reconnect the factory alarm in my '77, I got smoke coming out of the main wiring harness through the firewall!
