In searching for my vette (which I have now finally found) I was very specific on getting black interior.
However, I came across a couple cars on my search which definitly were tempting options>> White with red interior, and steel cities grey with red interior, both very striking colour combos. They looked really nice!
Changing the interior colour of a car sounds like a big job...obviously not impossible if you are committed to doing so.
How are you thinking of going about it? Purchasing the various pieces? or dying the current setup? (I assume maybe a combo of both).
Sorry for the questions, just interested thats all.

I didn't have my camera with me but at Corvette Expo there was a 69 convertible painted black with a red interior in it. It looked awesome and almost made me wish I would have went with red in mine. Very nice car with a crate motor, 5 speed ROD, and electric exhaust cutouts. He was only asking $34k. I hope he got his asking price for it.
My '69 is red on red & I love it, though I have to admit when I first saw my car I thought all that red looked a little *****-house. But I like *****-houses, so no problem!
The red leather interior works especially well in a 77 w/ the black door insets, console, steering wheel ... Many say "it looks so rich".
Pics on website.

I know a guy with a 72 vert black with red interior he did and it turned out great we actually almost bought that car but ended up with a 68.
I like black/black a little more but that black/red is pretty hot!

Anybody out there have red interior in your car? I would like to see a few pics... thinking about a interior color change...
My car is white with saddle Brown.
White with red sounds HOT! But not sure if I want the expense.
I did a color change on a 72 coupe in 89 and it is still holding up well. The key if you use the interior dye (paint) is to make certain that you really do a good cleaning and use the interior prep before you spray the plastic parts. You can do the door panels and dash also. Definate NO-NO on the seats.
My first Vette, 63 ragtop, was white with red. So I do like the combo.
I am in the process of changing from red to doeskin. Send me your e-mail and I can send you some pics of the red beginning. I hated the red but after all the new parts and the dye (that isn't holding up well even after multiple incredibly thorough cleanings) I am starting to wish I had just bought a car with the doeskin interior already in it.
I have a 1980 red/red, but the interior is faded to sorta orange...til I get the money to replace it, I'm goona get the spray can carpet die, and tape everything off and go at it.
My 77 has red interior and the exterior was originally #13 silver. Right now it is no color because I stripped it and primed it. When it's eventually finished it wil be back to the original #13 silver exterior with #722L red leather interior. I like that color combination, I had a friend who had that color combo on his 65 Vette and I always thought that was a hot color combo on a Vette.
OOOhh that spray can carpet is kinda... not that good..
I used it on my old camaro carpet and the Vinyl panels... looks good for a few weeks and fades out. The paneling chips easy also... the smell is bad....
