I have not been able to post pics on the new forum. so I have a website you can check them out at. I picked up my new fuel door from big632
this morning and i got it put on. Very nice indeed. For those of you that have ordered, you WILL not be disappointed. Very good craftsmanship is put into the fuel doors. Mikes vette is very nice, lot of work went into his car. Mike himself is an outstanding guy. While I was there few people showes up to take pics and check out his vette.
here is a few pics of the fuel door and also take a peek at the website for plenty more pics. fuel door
Mike thanks for the fuel door, it was the easiest install ever done. Pics does it no justice, it is better looking in person and you can see it in the rear view mirror. Outstanding job.

There is a thread that shows the fuel doors in great detail. Twinturbo has posted the pictures already
I know TT has posted pics, but not of my car
Thank AK Mal I just haven't uploaded them to the forum hosting site yet, Kinda pain the the a$$ to do, so I was using my pic hosting site, but I guess I will have to upload them to show up on the forum.
74FLCONV the is a post already going Custom Billet Fuel Doors
No you don't have to remove the tank, you just unbolt the 4 screws that hold on the door and bolt in the new door. no mods at all. It took me longer to find a phillips screwdriver then to replace the new door. Very Simple job

Nice project. I've been thinking seriously about getting a L-88 hood and have even fitted one, but didn't follow through since the aftermarket hood was about 1/4-1/2 inch narrower than my stock hood. Could you do me a favor and measure your stock and L-88 hoods across the back?
My hood isn't a stock aftermarket hood. I bought from a guy in Tulsa, OK and it did not fit. So I bought one that was not bonded together yet. It was in 2 pieces. I got the inner hood to fit the way I wanted it to, then the top outer skin and I bonded them and glassed them together myself. So to me it is a better fitting hood now. If I can find the time to finish it. If you look close you can see where I had screwed it in place to bond it together.
Both hoods are 45 inches across the back.
My door is being shipped today. I can hardly wait to add this custom piece to my car. Afterall it is about the only piece that is still stock on my car. LOL
