Default Explain this one.

I have one of those "car-wash" brushes, looks more like a broom. It has very soft bristles and attaches to a garden hose to wash your car. I use it primarily to wash my Excursion but don't attach it to the hose.

I dip the brush into a bucket of suds and wash that way, then rinse with the hose.

Here's what happens though. I have a bucket full of car wash suds but when I dip the soft bristled brush into the suds, the suds dissappear??? Why?

I have that exact same brush, and use it without hooking it up to a hose to wash my van, (work truck) and I use mequires car wash, with no problems!

You could have another type of soap or wax particles on the brush. It's like putting a bar of soap in a bubble bath, the bubbles disapate.

The bubbles are pockets of air. If you ***** the bubbles, they pop. If you want lots of bubbles, agitate the water or go back to using a wash mit.

I have this happen using my sponge right after cleaning the Amorall off my wheels. Seems like the tireshine products "de-suds" my bucket.

"Tiny bubbles, in the wine, makes me happy, makes me feel fine". Think Don Ho had that big hit.
Oops, I see it's tiny bubbles in your car wash soap that concerns you . That's what happens when you ask a tech question over here in general .

Probably much simpler than the above explanations. Have you ever waxed the car? If so, the wax almost certainly contains silicones. Silicones are among the best anti-foams available.

To prove my theory, next time you wash, make up your sudsy bucket then dip your finger first in the wax, then into the water. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I have one out in the garage and use it to clean the top off the Avalanche. I believe the silicone theory. When you extend the handle on the brush, if yours is like mine it is coated in that stuff. One of the main reasons, I don't use the brush that often.
