I got my rear bearing set up yesterday, so this afternoon with the help of a friend, we got my rebuilt passenger side trailing arm back in place. Still need to hook up the inboard sides of the strut rod and half-shaft and install the caliper, bleed the brakes and adjust the parking brake.
Then I can turn the vette around and do the other side
The trailing arm looks good but what about the rest of the undercarriage?
In time, There are a number of things that factor into that efffort.
1) Two vettes to maintain and improve.
2) Chornic back and knee problems which restricts my ability to get under the car. Really need to invest in a lift.
3) Laid off from my product manager position back at the end of Feb from the telecommunication company where I was employed for 25 years. So a lot of the parts that went into the trailing arm rebuild I had aquired months ago before being laid off. Now just taking some time to decide what I want to do. Go back to work for someone else, or start my own comapny.
