What would the tach. look like on 1970 corvette. If it was a big block car 454 how many RPM would it read and what would the red line be .Or is there any thing else I could look for to determine if it was a big block car. HELP

If the car has a rear sway bar then it was a big block.. The tach redline might give you also an indication on what engine was in the car, but there's no guarantee that it's still the original tach...

For a 1970 Corvette, the tachometers were 5300 redline for the ZQ3 engine, 5600 redline for the LS-5 engine, 6000 redline for the L-46 engine, and 6500 redline for the LT-1 engine.
