I just sold my wheels and forgot to check the back spacing. I intend to buy new wheels soon and want to make sure they fit right. What back spacing do I need on a 69'? Will 4 1/2" work?

I'm using 15 x 10 wheels with 5 inch backspacing.. but I use offset trailing arms..
It also depends a lot on what size tires you are using...
With my 28 x 13.5 - 15 ET Street tires, I needed to cut a piece of the frame, remove the rear sway bar and go with a narrowed spring...
StingrayDK: Thanks for that info. Does that mean I can't put on 4 1/2" back spacing rear wheels without modifications? I'm looking at some 17 x 8's in the front and 17' x 10's in the rear.
Olivier: I'm hoping to avoid those kinds of modifications. I know you need a lot more meat out back than I do. Your probably making twice the power I am.
