How much should I expect to pay
Question, my 78 sits up too high in the front, probably about 2 inches too high. First of all, is this common, I'm pretty sure it's an original car, I got it from the original owner. Anywho, I'd like to drop it down about two inches to get it to look right, any ideas on how much I should expect to pay a shop to uninstall the springs...cut them...and then re-install. I'm sure I could probably do it on my own, but would rather just take it somewhere to get it done...any ideas...thanks!!!

Are you sure the front is high, and not the rear is too low?
Another option, drop in a big block, extra weight should cause a little more squat in the front.

I am starting to not like the way my 78 sits too. I am going to cut mine myself, though.
vettefan311 -- Can you throw a tape from the center of the wheels wells to the ground and post the results?
I sit at 28 1/2" up front and 27 1/2" in back. I am going to cut one full coil out and hope the fronts drop 1 1/2".
