Default Correct plug wires

I am working on a engine detailing project and I want to put the ignition shielding back together. Question, are the plug wire ends at the distrubutor supposed to be right angle ends?

You don't mention the year of car, but I'd say yes. They're right angles on my 69. I believe this would be necessary to clear the top ignition shielding. Chuck

Default Year

Yes that would be helpful. The car is a 1970 vette.
