New Steering Wheel
I finally got around to sending my core steering wheel to Chuck Pelton 2 weeks ago today. Guess what was on my porch when I came home this evening!!! I had went to Oak Ridge to pick up trophies for Sundays car show and there was a box on the steps. Sure enough it was the steering wheel from Chuck. Nice and soft leather wrapped, black with satin spokes. Looks great and I can't wait to install it. It is going to replace my stocker and the wheel is out of an 80 model.
Thanks Prosouth, Jim.
My camera battery is dead or I would take pics. Stay tuned for pics.

Looks great Eddie, I'm glad that core wheel helped you out. I'd say that the smaller diameter wheel really improved getting in and out.
Now I need to send my '70 steering wheel to Chuck to have him pad and cover it for my Elky. The '70 style wheel looks great covered and padded. It actually was available like that as an option on a '69 Camaro and was extremely rare.

So much to do so little time and money. Jim
I wish I had a little more of both. Sure would make for easier living.
Should be easier to get in and out of. I am glad you found the thread, I was wanting you to see how the red wheel turned out. I can't wait to back the car out in the sun and get a good look at it. I think the pics in the garage are not the best because of flash.
I really dont like the look of an aftermarket wheel over my stock one, but I dont like how the stock one feels. Its so thin, when you're spinning it, it feels like you dont have it fully in your control, you know?
