authenticate rare big block

And also for future reference
it's "Gymkhana suspension" not "Jim Kona".
Best of luck
If the car is original it is worth significantly more than if modified. I don't recall ever hearing of that suspension as a factory option. It may have been desirable to have at the time but if it is not original it hurts the value of the car.
Originality, rarity, and condition are the three most important factors in considering value. Documentation is a must for a big buck car. Collectors are the ones who pay big bucks for cars and they want unimpeachable documentation and museum quality looks. Without that it is just another nice car that will bring what it is worth to ordinary Joe's who want to drive it and have fun. If you think it is a rare car take it to a NCRS judging meet and have them evaluate it. That is the best way to have experts in this hobby look at and evaluate the originality of the car. If it earns an award for Top Flight or Bowtie any of these awards give the car credibility upon resale. They can only add to its value.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
So how does Ecklers know it was "1 of 400" ? They must have some kind of data base......and why did they think it was "whats his name" ...
Gymkhana started in "74" as FE7.....

The base engine for the 1969 Corvette was changed to 350ci 300hp. Famed designer Harley Earl died at age 75. John DeLorean became the general manager of Chevrolet and canceled work on the XP-882, a four-wheel drive mid-engine test Corvette.

As for Jim Kona I happen to know he is a close relative of Harry Kahunes
