You need to find the numbers on the block, heads, tranny, etc even if they all matched to bring big money $100K+ you'd need vast documentation.

And also for future reference
it's "Gymkhana suspension" not "Jim Kona".

Best of luck

What year and what HP is car?

If the car is original it is worth significantly more than if modified. I don't recall ever hearing of that suspension as a factory option. It may have been desirable to have at the time but if it is not original it hurts the value of the car.

Originality, rarity, and condition are the three most important factors in considering value. Documentation is a must for a big buck car. Collectors are the ones who pay big bucks for cars and they want unimpeachable documentation and museum quality looks. Without that it is just another nice car that will bring what it is worth to ordinary Joe's who want to drive it and have fun. If you think it is a rare car take it to a NCRS judging meet and have them evaluate it. That is the best way to have experts in this hobby look at and evaluate the originality of the car. If it earns an award for Top Flight or Bowtie any of these awards give the car credibility upon resale. They can only add to its value.

The "Jim Kona" suspension was on the later C3 cars. It was the F41 suspension on the early C3 cars. We need some documentation on this one.

I think that the F-41 was an option in 68, 69, and 71, but only came with ZR-1 or 2 in 70 and 72.

Corvettes made in 1969: 16,633 were Convertibles and 22,129 were T-Tops.There were 1661 F41 (options) sold.
So how does Ecklers know it was "1 of 400" ? They must have some kind of data base......and why did they think it was "whats his name" ...
Gymkhana started in "74" as FE7.....

I think you guy's scared him off, and why would Eklers know how rare his car is? Sounds suspicious to me!

Hey the guy is just asking what documentation he needs to sell the car, cut him some slack.

As for Jim Kona I happen to know he is a close relative of Harry Kahunes
