Well, we finished pulling the front end apart on Monday and now comes the cleanup. It was driving and handling nice, but over the winter, the left front end dropped about 3/4" and I only had about an inch between the fender and the tire. I started out just wanting to replace the springs, but then was advised, might as well do the shocks and bushings. So, this little project has grown. Now that most everything is removed, it's pretty obvious everything needed to be replaced. Ball joints, bushings, and everything else made of rubber was original and pretty rough. Hope to have her back on the road by 1 July. Here's some pics if I can figure it out. Many thanks to all who advised on this project and especially Dan at Van Steel for giving me a great deal on shocks, springs, and suspension kit and to Scott for helping me tear it down. Well, here are the pics, but I can't figure ot how to enlarge.
