Default '73 Vent cable ?

I have a no AC 73 and my vent were no working so I took the center console apart to reconnect the cables. So then I found 3 cables, one to the left kick panel, one to the right and one to the center defrost. My problem is I don't know where the defrost cable connects. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks David

cables? or vaccume lines,to vaccume accuators?????if your talking about vaccume accuators.the defrost/heat is up above the gas pedal,,to your left as your looking up.and they work off a ported vaccume switch, located in the console,,mine is a ac car, has accuators controlling heat/defrost,,,,,recurlate/fresh air ect

Cables not vacuum lines. My no AC car has the 2 little vent ***** on either side of the heater controls. One goes to the left kick panel and the other goes to the right kick panel. The problem is there is a third cable that I;m not sure where to hook up.

It is mounted on the side of the temp. control you should see a clamp and the loop goes over a pin. It had a spring push on clip but I forgot to put it on and it works fine and didn't tear apart to fix it.

I've been looking at some pics and assembly manual to try to remember how/where exactly it connects... In the picture below you'll see a pin on the bottom/left-ish of the control switch. It slides as you turn the thumb wheel. There's another one on the other side, and, to my best recollection, the cable is attached to it, from the inside.
