Not a bad sounding car to me. If it is a s nice as the description he probably has that or more in it. If you don't beleive me jus' ask around here and see what you can drop into a frame off covering all of the "while you are at it"s.
He may not get that much out of it, but given some of the prices I have seen BB '73s bring that needed all he has done and more It would really be a bargin for someone. Somebody that realizes just what it all cost to do and BTW it's ready to ride. Not buy it now and if you don't lose interest, go bankrupt or die of old age before it's finished, get in it and go. jim

whats wrong with the price? friend has a 73 big block vert with the orig alum wheels- 11,000 orig miles,,,look at the price guides you really have a grabber if you think 19 grand is high!! mine appraised at 32,000! seen a 75 go for 25,000 ,a judge from vette fest sold it last year.people pay for a clean car, cost more to build it up than the 19 g,,,people think they can get a fresh body off resto car for 10 grand the seller would have to be a junkie,i dont see anything bad abt the price! you wouldnt believe me if i told you what i have invested in mine.but its a 5 time 1st place winner!!

I bet he has $25000. in parts and a 454 73 to start the project. Lets see 3000 hours free labor. I think it's a deal. Turn the key hit the gas and enjoy now not in 2- 5 years.

he probably has $15000 invested PLUS whatever he paid for the car...... it numbers matching, the original heads are wrapped, it's a manual ... nice car.... it's not cheap but how many are out there in restored condition and for sale ??

i don't think originality matters much any more...there are NCRS guys who value it with everything other then the check book and then theres the other guys who want it because it rocks and could care less about originality

maybe the seller is confusing the prices of "Original" restored 1973 BB's to his .. which his isn't all original.

I think it is a good deal also. A 73 daily driver is worth at least $13,000 without matching numbers and I know I could not do what this guy has done for another $7,000.00 including labour.
