Default Clock rebuild kit?

Hey, my clock is broken. I took it apart and see that the coil is burned up and the coil spring on the pedulum is twisted badly and non-repairable.

Is there a rebuild kit for the old gear-movement clocks? (I know I could convert it to quartz, but I kinda like the "tick-tick" of the old ones.)

Looks like they have complete mechanical clocks only. The only DIY kits are Quatz conversions. I sent them an email. Thanks.

Not sure about the kit to rebuild, but got the whole clock replacement from MidAmerica and keeps great time. Nice to have a working clock.

The Clock Works still has NOS Borg mechanical movements.

Default hate the damn thing!

I rebuilt mine, installed it and it didn't work. I then took it out, rebuilt it and it DID not work. I then shipped it to Rogers clock to have it restored, rebuilt. I installed the DAMN thing and it did NOT work. What gives its driving me crazy.

Did you check to see if you are getting power to the clock? Maybe you just have a bad wire.

Screw it. I ordered a quartz conversion. When it gets right down to it, I'd rather have reliable than "tick-tock"

My first order from Corvette America....because they were the only one had everything I needed
I ordered:
(1968 Corvette)
Firewall Grommet, Tach
Firewall Grommet, Speedo
Cable, Tachometer
Clock, Quartz Conversion Kit
Switch, Turn Signal
Console, Parking Brake
Flasher module
Wire-on Trim Caps (for vert. top)
Seat Belt Warning "PUSH" button

Totaled about $300...

All the majors had the conversion kit.
