camell hump date codes
how can you tell what the date codes mean? my casting is 3782461
date code F175.
I wan to put a performer intake on it, what year intake would work?

According to this link your heads are from between 1964 and 1966...

i have double hump heads....i thought the only issue was the accesory bolts....didn't know the intake bolts were different.

The bolts and intakes are not different, however I guess the guy knows he won't have an oil filler in front of the intake anymore.

The early style 327's (as well as 265 and 283's) had the oil filler in the front of the intake, not in the valve cover. If the guy still has stock valve covers he's going to have to change them or he won't have any place to put in oil.

He has an 81 so he should be ok.
