Shift console
I recieved my shift plate from Ecklars today. Can anyone tell me what to use to hold the ash tray cover on? How hard is it to change the shift markers P,1,2,3,R from the old cover to the new one? Any help would be most welcome. Thanks in advance Al

On the late C-3's there are two cheap plastic rivets and a small spring that hold the ashtray door on. There are three small black hex head screws holding the metal housing, flat plate, shift indicator lens and indicator needle

They are both very easy to change. Took mine all apart stripped the white metal ashtray lid and repainted to match new shift console. Removed the shift indicator lens and cleaned to look like new. Enjoy this simple task , as many others are not so enjoyable. Brent
